Drummers Go Down to Defeat, 5-4
|
Tortolita first baseman Paul Hall was sensational. He went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Pawnee beat the Drummers, 5-4. The save was credited to Wally Moon, his 10th. The 5th-place ParksNRec sport a record of 40-35.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Trent Brown? The Pawnee right fielder had a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the ParksNRec on top, 3-1. For the game, Brown had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I felt good up there," said Brown. "I saw the ball well."
