Fog Get Clonked by Coyotes, 4-0
|
The Hamilton Coyotes defeated the Sunset District Fog, 4-0, in M3L Triple A action at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. Hamilton pitcher Arthur Stevenson had a standout performance. Stevenson, now 4-4, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing no runs. Hamilton now sits in 8th place in the Menard's AAA at 33-39.
Hamilton left fielder Ed Reese laid a blow when he belted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. It was his 6th home run of the season. With it, the Coyotes took a 2-0 lead.
Stevenson called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
