Breeuwer Pops Two Homers in 7-3 Win for Bakersfield
The Bakersfield Nobles knocked off the Plymouth Rocks, 7-3, at Plymouth Quarry. Miles Breeuwer was a big reason Bakersfield won. The second baseman slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The winner was Gerald Orlebar, who threw 98 pitches over 6 innings. The left-hander was charged with 3 runs on 8 hits. The Nobles lead the Premier AAA by 8½ games.

Bakersfield used a well-timed hit by Juan Tilve to capture the win. The catcher socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Nobles ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
