Salt Lake City Buzz starter Dave Stafford was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Sacramento Redlegs, 3-2. Salt Lake City is now 53-49, while Sacramento is 51-51.

Salt Lake City used the bat of Gerald Riley to capture the win. The designated hitter jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Buzz ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Stafford.
