Reserves Win at Kansas, 10-4
The Athletic Club KC Reserves defeated the Kansas Rainbeaus, 10-4, at Wichita Field. Athletic Club KC pinch hitter Seb Blanch had a superb performance. He went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Athletic Club KC pitcher Hollis Covington got the win. He's now 8-6. Jason Lawrence was tagged with the loss. Athletic Club KC, at 49-50, occupies 5th place in the Premier AAA.

Blanch contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Athletic Club KC in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-1, Blanch took a slider from Jason Lawrence and stroked the home run to right. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Reserves to leap in front, 5-3.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Blanch told the Athletic Club KC Citizen.
