Marshall Hits 2 home runs in Redlegs Win
|
The timely hitting of Richard Marshall helped the Sacramento Redlegs down the Alaskan Humpbacks, 10-5. Marshall was 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Redlegs. Yun-fat Ju, now 3-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. Sacramento now has a 3-game win streak.
Marshall had a big hit for Sacramento with two out in the top of the fourth. With Sacramento leading 4-2, Marshall hit a grand slam home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Redlegs up, 8-2.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Marshall.
