Nobles Pull Off Thrilling 7-5 Win in Extras
The Bakersfield Nobles picked up a win at Jerome Grounds, knocking off the Jersey City Tritons, 7-5. Starting pitcher Valentin Calhamar played a key role in the triumph. Dewitt Clendaniel, now 3-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. Bakersfield has now won 4 games in a row.

Bakersfield won the game in the bottom of the 24th inning. With no outs and Jonathan Young on the mound for Jersey City, center fielder Lasse Karsberg hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Nobles fans to their feet.

"Exciting game to play in," said Karsberg. "Getting the win makes it even better."
