Blimps Get 7-1 Win Versus Billings
The Akron Blimps got a good effort from starter Rich Roberts in defeating the Billings Polar Bears at The Igloo. The final score was 7-1. Billings is now 3-2.

Akron first baseman Brian Myers contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a curveball into right field for a 2-run single. It was his 1st hit of the season and put the Blimps ahead, 4-0.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Roberts. "Successful pitchers do it."
