Hialeah Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Hialeah Dodos took Calgary pitcher Asher Mouland's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Dodos Ballpark. The final score had Hialeah getting past the Lynx, 4-3. Mouland went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 2. Hialeah has a record of 38-50, placing them 9th in the Premier AAA.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Hialeah trailing 3-2, An-te-hai Qing hit a fastball from Carlos Piñeiro for a 2-run home run, giving the Dodos the walk-off win.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Qing said.
