Buzz Lose Again, 7-5, to Rainbeaus

The Kansas Rainbeaus defeated the Salt Lake City Buzz, 7-5, in USPL Triple A action at Wichita Field. Kansas pitcher Kevin Hamm had a standout performance. Hamm, now 6-3, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 9, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. António Vázquez finished the game for Kansas and earned his 2nd save.
The Rainbeaus grabbed the lead in the bottom of the first. With one out, Fraser Childs hit a 3-run home run off Joshua Dobson, putting Kansas in front, 6-0. For Childs, it was his 6th home run of the season.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Childs.
Salt Lake City is in the throes of a 10-game skid.
