The Kansas Rainbeaus got a stellar performance from pitcher Bernard Miller, who handcuffed the Salt Lake City offense en route to a win, 3-1, at Wichita Field. The win puts Kansas at 41-39 this season.

Miller allowed no runs on 2 hits over 6.2 innings for the Rainbeaus. He walked 2 and struck out 10.

"It was a solid team effort," said Miller after the game.
