Hialeah Beats Plymouth, 5-2

Plymouth got a decent performance from pitcher Luis Estrada, but it wasn't enough to beat the Hialeah Dodos. Hialeah won the Dodos Ballpark contest, 5-2. Estrada threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Mark Taylor got the win, improving to 4-5. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 2 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. The Dodos' win now puts them at 34-46.
Tied up with the Rocks in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Dodos got a boost from second baseman Óscar Cardozo. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Cardozo saw a 2-2 fastball from Luis Estrada and hit a 2-run single to break the stalemate and put Hialeah on top, 3-1.
"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Cardozo told the Hialeah Herald.
