The Akron Blimps downed the Billings Polar Bears, 7-4, at The Igloo. Jacob Gray led the way, going 1-for-2 for Akron. The winner in relief was William Kelly. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. With the win, Akron lifts its record to 2-2.

Akron used the timely hitting of Ed Reilly to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Blimps on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It feels good to get this one," Reilly told the Akron Herald.
