The Athletic Club KC Reserves picked up a win at Plymouth Quarry, taking down the Plymouth Rocks, 3-2. Starting pitcher Hollis Covington was a big reason why. Covington went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 6-4. Alfonso Enríquez earned the save for Athletic Club KC, his 2nd of the year.

Sam Jones came through for Athletic Club KC when he hit a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a two-strike fastball to center field, staking his team to a 3-2 lead.
