The Barton Springs Blues beat the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 4-3. Barton Springs pitcher and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, native Ryan Riley led the way. The loss has the Pierogis at 1-2.

Barton Springs used a clutch hit from Cecil Hanson to snatch the win. The pinch hitter belted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blues ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Hanson.
