Rainbeaus Down Dodos, 4-1

The Kansas Rainbeaus topped the Hialeah Dodos, 4-1, in USPL Triple A action at Wichita Field. The standout performance belonged to Kansas pitcher and Washington, District of Columbia, native Bernard Miller. Miller got the win, improving to 5-5. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 6.1 innings. Miller allowed 1 run. The Rainbeaus saw their win-loss record go to 35-36. At the same time, the Dodos fell to 28-43.
Darrell MacGregor helped the cause in the bottom of the sixth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. His at-bat contributed to the Kansas win.
"I thought we played a nice game," Miller told the Kansas Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
