Guinea Pigs Walk It Off for 3rd Win of Season
Guinea Pigs fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs picked up a win at Experimental Stadium, knocking off the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 5-4. Starting pitcher Jeff Morehead played a key role in the triumph. Gwinnett reliever Francisco Díaz was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Matt Green.

Alanzo Gaufi was the walk-off hero for Gwinnett. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Guinea Pigs first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was rockin'," said Gaufi.

Ithaca is 0-3 after the loss.
