Jersey City got a strong outing from Sean Murphy as the Tritons defeated the Alaskan Humpbacks, 6-2, at Jersey City Grounds. The 'W' lifts Jersey City's record to 31-33.

In the bottom of the first, Rylen Roersma hit a 2-run home run. The 2nd home run of the season for the Jersey City first baseman put the Tritons on top, 2-0.

Murphy told a Jersey City Times reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
