The Bethesda Atoms got a superb performance from pitcher Cristóbal Noriega. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Billings. The Polar Bears won the game, 4-1. Noriega threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Bethesda falls to 0-3.

Billings used the clutch hitting of Henry Andrews to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Polar Bears the lead, 3-1. For the game, Andrews had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Andrews told the Billings Times.
