Rocks center fielder You-liang Yang put his stamp on his team's 5-3 win over the Salt Lake City Buzz. Yang went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Plymouth in the contest. Luis Estrada was the winner. Over 7 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 3 hits, with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. Salt Lake City is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.
Plymouth took the lead on Yang's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against Joshua Dobson in the top of the eighth, made the score 5-3, Plymouth.
"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Yang said in reaction to the win.
