Calgary designated hitter Haechan Mae pounded Sacramento Redlegs pitchers at Lynx Stadium, but it was not enough to keep the Lynx from falling, 10-8. Mae hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Sacramento goes to 39-17. The win puts them 7 games up in their division.

The Lynx had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Redlegs going into the top of the third inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old left fielder Lewis Burnell came to the plate. Burnell hit a 2-run home run on a 1-0 changeup from Calgary hurler Asher Mouland. It was Burnell's 13th home run of the year.

"I don't care about style points," Burnell said. "I only care about winning."
