López, Bakersfield Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
In a tight game between the Bakersfield Nobles and the Jersey City Tritons, pitcher Alberto López was terrific on the mound. The Bakersfield right-hander helped his team to the 2-0 win. Luis Gutiérrez collected save number 3. Bakersfield is third in the Premier AAA with a record of 28-25.
López, who was born in Barahona, Dominican Republic, threw 82 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.
