Heron Field was the site of the home opener for the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats. The contest featured a prime matchup between Jacob Holt of the visiting Irving Blue Sox and Milton Houston of the Love Boats. The final score was 9-3, the Blue Sox getting the win. Ron Miller turned in the best performance. Irving pitcher Jacob Holt got the win. He's now 1-0. Milton Houston was tagged with the loss.

With Irving leading 2-1 in the top of the fourth, Miller hit a fastball from Milton Houston for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Blue Sox ahead, 5-1.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Miller.
