Nolensville Knights starter Jimmy Evans turned in a sterling performance against the Port Royal Disaster, leading his team to a slim 2-1 win. The Knights sport a record of 27-42.
Yong-hong Xie put Nolensville in front, 2-0, when he hit a solo home run off Jack Croucher in the top of the fifth. It was his 2nd home run of the season.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Evans told the Nolensville Today.
