Gaines Hits 2 home runs in Fog Win
|
Fog shortstop Jeremy Gaines put his stamp on his team's 7-1 win over the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds. Gaines hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for Sunset District in the contest. The Menard's AAA-leading Fog have a record of 46-21.
With Sunset District leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Gaines hit a fastball from Juan Pujol for a 3-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Fog ahead, 4-0.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Gaines.
