Redlegs Stay Hot, Beat Humpbacks, 4-1
|
The Sacramento Redlegs defeated the Alaskan Humpbacks, 4-1, in USPL Triple A action at Sea World. Sacramento pitcher Raúl Ferrer had a standout performance. Willie Steele closed it out for his 12th save. The Redlegs have a winning streak of 6 games.
Sacramento relied on the hitting of Colton Donnelly to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Redlegs on top, 2-0. For the game, Donnelly had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"I really like what we did out there today," Donnelly said after the game.
