Extra-Inning Win by Rocks Over Buzz
The Plymouth Rocks bested the Salt Lake City Buzz, 9-6, at Spirits Stadium. Bob Holmes was one of the standouts. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Plymouth reliever Ari Schaller picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Stan Rose absorbed the loss. The win makes Plymouth 15-16.

Holmes had a game-changing home run in the top of the 12th. On a 2-0 fastball from Stan Rose, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Rocks a 9-6 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Holmes.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Holmes.
