The 7-5 Milton win over Nolensville was due in large part to Wendell Palmer. The Dogfish Head second baseman went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Garry Horton, credited with the win, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits. Kamiel Wabeke collected his 5th save.
Milton grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With two out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Robbie Clark delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 6-5 in favor of the Dogfish Head.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Milton manager Kevin Tyler.
The 11th-place Knights have lost 5 straight games.
