The Plymouth Rocks got a superb performance from designated hitter John Kersey, but the Alaskan Humpbacks still won the game, 6-5. Kersey was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The loss puts Plymouth at 6-7.

Xiao-gang Kong, who is tied for 4th in the PAAA in hits with 20, chipped in for Alaskan with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.

"The clubhouse can get insufferable after we lose, so I'm glad we pulled this one out today," Kong told the Alaskan News.
