|
In a low-scoring game between the Hollywood Shredders and the San Mateo Dirty Reds, pitcher Ratko Peric was masterful on the mound. The Hollywood left-hander spearheaded his team's 3-1 win. In 7 innings, Peric surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. The loss has the Dirty Reds at 1-2.
Hollywood took a 2-1 lead on Yamato Sato's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run came off San Mateo pitcher Peer Slooters in the bottom of the seventh.
