Coyotes Squelch Golden Cranes Offense in Shutout Win
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Hamilton Coyotes and the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, Harry MacGruder was the difference-maker. The Hamilton right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Santa Barbara now has a record of 7-4.
Steve Burnett, the 29-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Burnett contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fifth inning to put Hamilton up, 1-0.
"I think we all put in a good day's work," said MacGruder.
