The Plymouth Rocks got a stellar performance from pitcher Cristián Reyes, who handcuffed the Sacramento offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Plymouth Quarry. Ari Schaller got the save, the 2nd for him this season. The loss puts Sacramento at 1-4.

Ángelo Atenas drew 2 walk in 4 trips to the plate for Plymouth. The 28-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off José Cruz. It was his 2nd walk of the season.

Atenas told a Plymouth Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
