The Boston Patriots downed the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 7-5. The hitting star was catcher Thiago Yepes. Yepes went 2-3 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Patriots. Reliever Robert Smalls picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Miguel Pérez took the loss. Boston now owns a record of 10-12.

With Boston leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Yepes hit a changeup from Miguel Pérez for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Patriots ahead, 5-0.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Yepes said after the game.
