Bullets Upend Lakers, 6-0
|
The Baltimore Bullets topped the Echo Park Lakers by a score of 6-0. Leading the way was center fielder Jorge Rocha. Rocha was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Bullets. Baltimore pitcher Jeremy Brody got the win, upping his record to 8-6. Mario Gonzáles got the loss. Baltimore is now riding a 5-game win streak.
In the top of the first, with the game still scoreless, Rocha hit a run-scoring single to put his team in the lead.
"I like our mindset right now," said Baltimore manager Brandon Slouck.
