Behind the hitting of Arturo Iglésias, the Buffalo White Walkers stopped the Detroit Elite, 6-5. Iglésias was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the White Walkers. Kyle Collins converted his 25th save in 28 tries. Buffalo raised its record to 62-32 with the win.

Had Tetsu Matsumoto not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Matsumoto hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the White Walkers.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Iglésias said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
