#1 SR Hurler Named Wednesday, September 25th , 2047 This year there was no one better on the mound than Kolya Putilov. Posting 11 wins and a 2.20 ERA was only part of the story for the Plattsburgh superstar. For his outstanding performance in 2047 he was chosen as the USSL Rookie Pitcher of the Year Award winner. From start to finish Putilov never let up. In 18 starts he recorded 11 wins and 3 losses, 126.2 innings, 133 strikeouts, 25 walks, yielded 90 hits, and permitted opposing batters to hit .190 against him. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Douggie Westcott of the Beaumont Crossbeaus finished second in voting, while Omar bin Hatim of the Flint Crush finished third.
