José Mercado Hurt, Out for Year Wednesday, May 8th , 2047 José Mercado of the Otters just might have to call it quits for the season. The 20-year-old Tulsa starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Greenport Harbor Whales recently at Ballpark of Robbins. Mercado suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. The Otters medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 7 months. |
