Fort Knox Sweeps Ogallala Wednesday, September 11th , 2047 The season came to a crashing halt for the Ogallala Octopi when the Fort Knox Centennial beat them 9-0 today at Ballpark of Baxter to sweep the PL R Championchip 2-0. Fans in Fort Knox have already begun the celebration, and officials are expecting huge numbers when the championship parade takes place in a few days. "Unbelievable for us, for our fans," an elated Centennial skipper Justin Saginov said. "This team has worked as hard as any team ever. They deserve it. What these guys have done, they're going to enjoy for a long time." This was the 7th championship for the Centennial. After the game, Ogallala manager Luis Muñóz was asked by reporters what it's like to lose in the PL R Championchip. "You want the results to be different," he said.
