Rams Ellerd Akker to Miss Year Saturday, August 10th , 2047 Ellerd Akker will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Ladue starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Akker was injured while throwing a pitch in the Rams-Otters clash at Ballpark of Hughesville recently. Doctors said he has a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 11-12 months. This season Akker has registered 3 wins and 1 loss in 8 starts with a 3.27 ERA. |
