Ralston Gets Award for Relief Work
Friday, October 4th , 2047
John Ralston was a calming influence out of the Northville Eclipse bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 24-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the USPL Double A Reliever of the Year Award for 2047.

The Oakland, California native won the award with 26 saves in 45 relief appearances, 60 strikeouts in 51.2 innings and a record of 2-2 to go with his 1.74 ERA.

He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jason Walker of the Richland Rails finished second in voting, while Lung Zhou of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles finished third.
