Sweet Sweep for Mercer Island Monday, September 23rd , 2047 Today the Screaming Eagles fans broke out the brooms at Mercer Island Grounds and it worked -- Mercer Island swept the Minnesota Loons 2-0 and are the 2047 USPL Double A PL AA Championship champions for the 15th time in their history. The Screaming Eagles derailed Minnesota 3-1 to wrap up the title. Mercer Island finished the season with a record of 65-37 and ranked first in the Premier AA. View Boxscore View Game Log |
