Playoff Bound: Loons Win Wild Card Friday, September 20th , 2047 As the clock struck midnight in the Minnesota Loons clubhouse, the celebration showed no signs of slowing down. The Loons were certainly ready to celebrate their USPL Double A wild card berth. "It's time to let off a little steam after a grind of a season," said reliever Alfredo Morales. "We may act a bit like teenagers tonight celebrating, but we'll be back to being big leaguers tomorrow." With a 57-46 record, Minnesota will be seeking its 7th USPL Double A championship. |
