Yang Sensational, 15 Ks Saturday, June 15th , 2047 Shan-tang Yang of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles put on a pitching clinic today at Mercer Island Grounds as he struck out 15 Nuevo Mexico Mariachis in a 9-3 victory. Yang, who is tied for 7th in the PAA in innings pitched with 49.2, was simply magnificent as he held the Mariachis to 4 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Yang said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Yang's performance, Screaming Eagles manager Ricardo Vargas shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating."
