SAA Top Batter Trophy Won by Montgomery Tuesday, October 1st , 2047 Lee Montgomery may be much younger than other hitters in the USSL Double A, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Virginia Beach shortstop hit .442 with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 14 runs scored. Montgomery has a lifetime .304 batting average and .348 on-base percentage in his 100-game career with 130 hits and 20 home runs. |
