Gulf Coast Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Wednesday, September 4th , 2047 A late-season playoff push is not in the cards for the Gulf Coast Turbeaus. The club today was mathematically knocked out of playoff contention. "There are a lot of long faces around right now," said Turbeaus manager Austin Case. "You know in your head that every year, most teams in baseball have to go through this, but it still hurts when you realize you've lost your shot at a title." This is the club's 14th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2024.In total, the Turbeaus have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 16-year history. |
