SAA's Top Hitter Announced Sunday, September 1st , 2047 Manuel Pérez may be much younger than other hitters in the USSL Double A, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Chesapeake shortstop hit .297 with 11 home runs, 28 RBIs and 15 runs scored. For the season Pérez has hit .265 with 22 home runs and 73 RBIs. He has played in 87 games and scored 49 times. |
