Beavis Wins SAA's Best Bat Trophy Thursday, August 1st , 2047 Virginia Beach Whales fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in July. Scott Beavis put up a remarkable month at the age of 25 and has been named the USSL Double A Batter of the Month. For the month, Beavis hit .411 with 7 home runs, 16 RBIs and 16 runs scored. In his stats this season, Beavis has posted a batting average of .350 with 100 hits in 286 at-bats, 12 home runs and 41 RBIs. He has also scored 53 runs, walked 10 times and compiled a .372 OBP. |
