Tacoma-Billings Fight Results in Suspensions Tuesday, June 18th , 2047 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Tacoma-Billings contest at Ballpark of Tacoma. The Fur Traders Jim Kelley and the Polar Bears Stewart Clapp will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Kelley is hitting .273 so far this season with 1 RBIs and 1 runs scored. He has 6 hits including 1 home run, 1 walk and .333 OBP. In 11 relief appearances this season, Clapp has 1 save. He has no wins and 1 loss, 3.86 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 11.2 innings. |
