Andropov Wins SAA Best Player Award Monday, June 10th , 2047 Pikup Andropov burst onto the USSL Double A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie first baseman for Gulf Coast garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 25-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .500 (8-for-16) with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs last week. Looking at his stats this year, Andropov has compiled a .275 batting average, while hitting 7 home runs and driving in 19 runs. He has played in 29 games and scored 11 runs. |
