Álvarez Pitches Casper to Shutout Victory Thursday, September 5th , 2047 In an excellent mound performance, Alonso Álvarez of the Casper Ghosts whitewashed the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats 5-0 on a 5-hitter. "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game. In all, the Casper hurler rang up 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in the shutout win. "We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Love Boats manager Javier Martínez. "Álvarez did a good job keeping us guessing."
